Spirituality – Universal School of The Golden Rule

Spirituality is many things to many people. We can research and delve into all the world’s doctrines for truths but all of the world’s spiritual traditions are rooted in the same ancient and eternal wisdom at a fundamental level. And the core Universal teachings in ALL spiritual traditions share THE GOLDEN RULE.

Do Unto Others

The Golden Rule and discovering the ethical standard that it places upon us in our life has much to teach us all. This deep and enduring knowledge imparts to us at every level in societal structures and helps us to learn how we can be the best we can be. Put simply, our spiritual task is to find harmony and peace within ourselves and with each other and thereby access the Unity Intelligence of the Christos or Krystal Universal Consciousness. The Golden Rule is also the most essential basis for the modern concept of human rights, in which each individual has a right to just treatment and a reciprocal responsibility to ensure justice for others.

One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.

It is commonly referred to as “Do unto others”. This concept describes a “two-way”, relationship between one’s self and others, that involves both sides equally and with a mutually beneficial or win-win result. The Golden Rule is an ethical code, a moral truth, and it is Universal, from North to South, to East to West and throughout all of humanity…

The Universality of The Golden Rule

  • Christianity – “All things whatsoever ye would, that men should do to you, do ye so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.” – Matthew 7:1
  • Confucianism – “Do not do to others what you would not like yourself. Then there will be no resentment against you, either in the family or in the state.” – Analects 12:2
  • Buddhism – “Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.” – Udana-Varga 5,1
  • Hinduism – “This is the sum of duty; do naught onto others what you would not have them do unto you.” – Mahabharata 5,1517
  • Islam – “No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself.” – Sunnah
  • Judaism – “What is hateful to you, do not do to your fellowman. This is the entire Law; all the rest is commentary.” -Talmud, Shabbat 3id
  • Taoism – “Regard your neighbour’s gain as your gain, and your neighbour’s loss as your own loss.” – Tai Shang Kan Yin P’ien
  • Zoroastrianism – “That nature alone is good which refrains from doing another whatsoever is not good for itself.” – Dadisten-I-dinik, 94,5

The most important thing is that at the root, all religions and spiritual teachings start with this fundamental understanding that shares the common language of The Golden Rule. This allows us, no matter what language we speak, no matter what race we are, or which country we live in, to always relate to one another, and it starts with powerful and authentic communication.

As we apply the Golden Rule and its principles as a part of the ethical standard we create in our personal lives and within our community setting, we learn to become the living example of being a true humanitarian that values life. This action puts us in alignment with the One Source, in so that we may become a direct knower of that Source and be at one with all . This isn’t religion, this is everyone’s spiritual reason and right, it just got lost, buried, forgotten, distorted, made redundant, or whatever and however. But it is the truth. It is the way, and to doubt is not only dangerous, it can prove fatal.

Meet The Law of One

Many more human beings have been inducted into the Ascension process and are now enduring intense levels of personal dismantling. It’s darn hard work. The older you are, or the more entrenched false doctrines are in your mind, the harder it is. So go easy on yourself, and others.

We are being forced to adapt to the moment to moment changing terrain impacting our lives. Everything is in the now moment. And when our core existence is challenged during such immense levels of transformation, we may feel the magnification of the smallest issue being amplified so that it feels like a life or death matter, or a battle of wills, as the old tries to cling desperately onto what it has known and what is familiar, even if it is destructive to that person or those around them. This is why knowing why these changes are critical for our evolution and why we need to try to surrender to them without fighting them, lashing out, or becoming angry, which only makes the process much, much, harder. All the time we should endeavour to keep in the forefront f our mind, The Golden Rule.

Greater acceptance is required more than ever now. And learning how to surrender is a daily practice. Problems we used to obsess about or believe were a big deal, are losing their importance in our lives because there is something so much bigger going on. We must become less attached to things and be willing to let go of spiritually bankrupt values in order to survive the transformation required to become more balanced with our own sense of being as a true human being. So, what does it mean for us to be in alignment to our own God Source, Divine, Eternal Creator, or whatever term you feel comfortable with, but which are all the same thing? What does it actually mean to be a true humanitarian?

Each of us have a requirement to have an internal and external dialogue to explore the profound changes being placed on our own personal values. What we value and what we place importance upon is undergoing fundamental changes because it has to change for true humanity to be restored to this planet.

What The World Needs Today

As Toots said, “What The World Needs Today, is a little Spiritual Healing” and it applies just as much today, if not more so. What is needed, what we could all learn and improve upon together, is a reawakening and a recommitment to the basic values of human existence – the standards of ethical behaviour that define and make or break the character of a human being. This concept is intrinsic to The Law of One Practices, Principles, and Laws.

So, Ancient Wisdom from North, to South, to East, to West, has come full circle, and now it’s also Modern-Day Wisdom and a necessity if we are going to make it. Remember The Golden Rule. When it comes to learning about the true nature of our self, spirituality, and unity consciousness, you’re either In, or you’re Out. We all have Free Will in this regard. If you’re In – love and light and see you on the other side. If you’re Out – love and light… you’re going to need a lot of both.
